Exacly as Kaine pointed out - my mod is pure graphical enchancing one. I did not and will not add anything to it which is not pure graphical related.
As for the detection settings - the darkness of the nights may affect even the default detection settings - because they are programmed to be weather realted. So far I did not experience any such influence though.

trojanuch,
before installing your mod yesterday, I have been experiencing a light-related detection behaviour with pitchblack1 (no other mod installed), in Yantar i.e. (almost total darkness): there I would have been able to go quite head-on towards zombies (and sneaking on snorks as well), a lot of times killing them with the knife...
one last question:
how can I keep your mod installed, yet playing Yantar and Dark Valley with their original weather/light settings?
thanks

Hi,
You can either:
1. delete the envirnomtent.ltx file
or
2. in this file change the weather file assigment to levels:
for example:
change
yantar = sect_default_weather
into
yantar = sect_yantar
The vanilla code for envirnoment.ltx weather file assigment is:
[weathers]
map = sect_map
test = sect_test
default = sect_default_weather
indoor = sect_indoor
indoor_x18 = sect_indoor_x18
pripyat = sect_prypyat
radar = sect_radar
rain = sect_rain
sarkofag = sect_sarkofag
stancia = sect_stancia
stancia2 = sect_stancia2
yantar = sect_yantar
yantar_indoor = sect_yantar_indoor
Good luck!
